Deadline to Submit Poster Abstracts for Consideration: September 18th, 2020

APA 2020 will again have formal Poster Sessions on Monday, October 12th and Tuesday, October 13th prior to the evening receptions.  Poster presenters will be expected to stand with their posters to answer questions and stimulate discussion. The organizing committee will receive and review all poster submissions.  After submission, poster abstracts will be reviewed by the relevant organizing committee(s).  Participants will be informed of the committee's decision in a timely fashion, usually within 3-5 business days.

The Applied Pharmaceutical Analysis (APA) workshop strongly encourages posters. The majority of posters submitted to APA by attendees registering at regular rates (eg. Pharmaceutical Industry employees, government agency employees, and academics) will have their abstracts accepted.

Poster Contest: The most Outstanding Poster Presenter in each functional area (ie., Regulated Bioanalysis,Discovery, ADME) will receive:

Recognition for Outstanding Poster & Free Registration to APA 2021. Posters will be judged by the organizers.

  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee prior to approval.
  • Posters should fit within a 4' tall x 6' wide space.
  • Poster authors may set up their posters during the morning break on Monday, October 12th.
  • Poster presenters will be expected to stand with their posters to answer questions during the dedicated poster sessions that will take place on Monday the 12th and Tuesday the 13th prior to the evening receptions.
  • It's the author's responsibility to remove their posters and all other materials.   All posters must be removed immediately after the evening reception on Tuesday, October 13th.
Submitters who have a commercial interest in the meeting, ie consultants, CROs, instrument companies, et cetera, by the definitions presented in Conflict of Interest section of The Boston Society Inc. bylaws must be vetted through a more rigorous screening process to ensure that the poster contains only scientific content as opposed to any commercial content. Commercial content at Boston Society Inc. meetings is restricted to the sponsor/exhibitor area so that the conference is not overwhelmed by commercial content and so that competing commercial interests are not subsidizing one another.
