Save your seat for the Mentoring Breakfast at the Applied Pharmaceutical Analysis 2018 Conference!

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:00 AM

Mentoring is an interactive learning and educational experience designed to facilitate relationships between students, new professionals, and leaders in the biotech industry. Students and young scientists benefit greatly from the exchange of ideas with mentors and gain useful insights on how they can best manage their career development.

This event brings together senior executives and researchers with a small group of students for an informal discussion of current trends in the industry as well as career paths and opportunities.

We are delighted to announce that the upcoming APA 2025 conference will feature a poster session, and we warmly invite all attendees to submit their poster abstracts for consideration. This presents an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your work and engage with other industry professionals.

Please note that our organizing committees will thoroughly review all poster abstracts received prior to the deadline (September 15th, 2025). Authors will typically receive notification of their poster's approval within 3-4 business days. All approved posters will be prominently displayed in the exhibit area throughout the event.

In addition, we are excited to announce that the top 4 poster presenters, relevant to each workshop, will have the opportunity to present their work through a live/oral presentation during one of the workshop days. The relevant workshops and days are as follows:

  • Regulatory Biology Workshop – Day I/October 6th
  • Discovery BA Workshop – Day II/October 7th
  • Mechanistic ADME Workshop – Day III/ October 8th

Don't miss out on this invaluable chance to gain recognition for your work and connect with peers in the community. Submit your poster abstract today by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and join us at this year's APA conference.

The Applied Pharmaceutical Analysis (APA) workshop strongly encourages posters. The majority of posters submitted to APA by attendees registering at regular rates (eg. Pharmaceutical Industry employees, government agency employees, and academics) will have their abstracts accepted.

Poster Guidelines:

  • Abstracts should include the following sections with headers: Title, Authors, Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee prior to approval.
  • Posters should fit within a 32" x 40" space (can be used as a landscape or portrait).
  • Poster authors may set up their posters during the morning break on Monday, October 6th.
  • Poster presenters will be expected to stand with their posters to answer questions during reception time on Monday, October 6th and Tuesday, October 7th.
  • It's the author's responsibility to remove their posters and all other materials.   All posters must be removed immediately after the conclusion of the event.

Submitters who have a commercial interest in the meeting, ie consultants, CROs, instrument companies, et cetera, by the definitions presented in Conflict of Interest section of The Boston Society Inc. bylaws must be vetted through a more rigorous screening process to ensure that the poster contains only scientific content as opposed to any commercial content. Commercial content at Boston Society Inc. meetings is restricted to the sponsor/exhibitor area so that the conference is not overwhelmed by commercial content and so that competing commercial interests are not subsidizing one another.
